We stopped for an hour at the Cole Transportation Museum in Bangor, ME which we found fascinating. This museum has an extensive collection of transportation pieces ranging from real trains to motorcycles, from farm equipment to military trucks and jeeps. It was a nice diversion during our drive time.
We had lunch in Bangor after the museum and another 90 minutes later we were stopping for ice cream somewhere along the rural road. This treat is another dessert picked up by the boys for earning sincere compliments from complete strangers. I'm not sure how many this group has picked up this summer but I'm guessing around six. Great job guys!
Checked into our motel, went swimming, and then walked to dinner and then came back for some night swimming.
All are in bed now. Another good day.
