The cold Mediterranean didn't stop these guys from swimming. We had an amazing day today as we traveled across the city of Barcelona on a step-on/step-off bus tour. We traveled miles across Barcelona and made several stops. The Grayline double-decker bus had headsets so we could listen to everything in English.
There were several highlights but most of the boys enjoyed a dip in the Mediterranean Sea. We continued on the tour and made stops at the Sagrada Familia, a quite unusual chapel. The lines were too long to go in but many boys did tour one of Antoni Gaudi's buildings, Casa Batllo. You would have to see this to appreciate it, but to see it you would understand where our word "gaudy" comes from.

We had a very late dinner and decided to return to our neighborhood restaurant, Casa Martelo, just because it was convenient and good. It was wonderful to have our same waitress help us enjoy mostly typical Mediterranean dishes. The food was tasty and most boys tried something new.
I'm not sure when the next blog post will be. We leave tomorrow morning for Valance, France and we hope from there to head somewhere else...but that is the question at this time. It's all an adventure.
